Tuesday i had my surgery, to remove the polyp on my vocal chord, and anesthesia kicked my but, so i've felt kind of crummy for a few days. I can't talk until Friday - its been interesting, playing charades and writing notes. Its put me in kind of a weird mood, and every night at dinner i get a little irritated, b/c people try to talk to me, but i can only shake my head yes or no, but answers aren't always that simple. and when someone tries to elaborate - to explain more thoroughly how i feel - they get it wrong, but all i can do is nod or shrug. i feel like i've been lying, just because its easier than whipping out the notepad while i'm eating my lukewarm, bland, soft food. but its also made me feel very indifferent to conversation.
